Hinch shows damage of good intentions mired in egomania

hinchMuch has been made of the Turnbull government’s successes in the last week of sitting in the federal parliament. Malcolm Turnbull is crowing but there is a broad understanding the hot ticket item, the ABCC legislation which passed through the Senate earlier this week, has been rendered a dud and that Derryn Hinch was played by the CFMEU to cough up concessions.

While being tricked by the CFMEU’s office bearers is hardly something anyone would want to put on their political resumes, Hinch would not see it that way. He may have his own explanation for it. I have no doubt he could spout some rationalisation at the drop of a hat. That is a talent he undoubtedly possesses.

More generally, I’d suggest voters should be leery of people like Hinch becoming representative politicians. Perhaps we should adopt a tacit rule that wherever a political party appears with the word ‘justice’ in it, that party is not worth the ballot paper it is written on. Where it appears featuring the name of a media personality before the word ‘justice’ you can put the house (or indeed the Senate) on it being a self-serving exercise in the sort of ‘look at me’ politics we have come to know and despise in this country.

Shorten is a disaster…as I have sed for yearz. This is EASILY the worst govt we have ever had if you look at the benchmarks of debt, unemployment, negative GDP growth, business investment, construction, climate, wages growth….and with all of this ammo, Shorten cannot make a dint in the rusted armour of these Looters. The worst opposition leader ever guaranteeing the Looters govt forever.

Pope brilliant cartoonist. Picture of Scum Morrison looking at the shocking debt and growth figures. Telling Malcolm “Well we can blame it on the last govt”. Malcolm replies “But the last govt was us”. But yes…they keep blaming Labor for everything-even Leaving the Looters with a AAA credit rating from all agencies after rescuing us from the worst global turndown since the depression….to quote Hockey!

Hillsong Morrison continues to blatantly lie to the Australian people. So many indicators prove he is plainly dishonest. That is before we consider the Population grew by 400K in the last year but GDP is falling?

JtI – “Incidentally apologies to all for slow posting. I’ve been head down bum up for the last 24 hours.”

Whoa right there. Too much information methinks.

I see the latest Newspoll shows Australians biggest concerns are ? wait for it. Jobs and Growth! How inconvenient for the coalition the very slogan they run on is the people of the countries biggest concern. Are there odds out for an early election late next year or very early 2018?

I note your attempt at humour Carl. 22 degrees Carl 22 degrees above average for this time of year Carl. About time you, “Don’t defame me Carl”. Do you have evidence contrary to the temperature rise? Carl it is obvious you have a need to be the opposite and opposing view purely on the grounds of the political ideology you support. Try as you might to dress up your inputs you are sadly wrong on most counts. Perhaps you should consider reviewing information rather than following a political ideology. It would definitely raise the veracity of your inputs to this blog. The polar bears will not have an environment to hunt in unless the Nations of the world make big changes in the coming decades. They cannot Evolve fast enough to live in the water permanently due to the rapid effects of our consumption. The polar bears may well get the D they need from their diet we only need 10-20 minutes sunlight a day. Oh and never go out in the sun without your shades.

Russell Crowe goes the biff with Azealia Banks (whoever that is) and when the case against Rusty gets the boot she says shes not going to let the media “control my narrative” (whatever that actually means).

Someone involved in that might be a wankpuffin. And Im not sure it was Rusty…

Weird to think that in 100 years even people who speak english might not be actually speaking english…

I think Malcolm’s time is up. Certainly the patience of his party, not to mention this country, must be wearing thin.
So who is the replacement? If I was Josh Frydenburg I would start counting the numbers He seems the only one talking any sense at all at the moment. He kind of reminds me a bit of the scapegoat that Rudd made of Peter Garrett. Sent into the front line when the going gets tough. But he’s way smarter than ”Rudd celebrity pick” Garrett.
Bearing in mind that it will probably be a temp assignment. My feeling is that Shorten will romp it in next time. I wonder about Andrew Leigh. Is he the next one in line? Seems a level-headed sort of bloke. I do not like Tanya/Penny – too hysterical.
